About Us

D63's Family Resource Center offers parent education opportunities and family resources. Here, D63 families can find:

• D63's Expanded Learning Program, which offers before- and after-school care - as well as school break programs and summer camp.
• A wide range of free or low-cost programs (held on weekends, after school, or evenings) for parents, families, and students - from yoga and adult English language classes to robotics and family board game nights. Click the "Upcoming Programs" link on the right for details and to register. Child care is generally provided.
• A special Welcome Center for our newcomer families. Parents and students who have recently arrived in this country can find assistance with navigating both our schools and the community.
• Our Marketplace for D63 families in need. Whether it's non-perishable food, winter weather wear, home goods, or personal care products, our Marketplace may be able to help with the basics. You can also donate new and gently used items!

Located at 9000 Capitol Drive in Des Plaines, our Expanded Learning Program is also housed at the Center, and many of its programs operate at the site.
