K-5 Traditional Day Camp Program

Campers going into grades K-5 for the 2024/25 school year will enjoy a traditional day camp experience, participating in activities like reading, crafts, art projects, sports, games, science experiments, and more! Campers will develop skills in communication, conflict-resolution, building friendships, along with other vital social-emotional skills. Campers can plan to go on exciting field trips around Chicago land, enriching their experience even more. In addition to a variety of activities and field trips, campers will spend their afternoons at the pool up to twice a week!

6-8 Innovators

This program is designed for youth entering middle school in the 2024/2025 school year. Campers will participate in a variety of traditional camp activities, learn about community service, develop financial literacy skills, and go on walking trips throughout the week in addition to two pool days and Friday field trips.

This program keeps your middle schooler busy and active, building on social-emotional skills needed to be successful in pre- and adolescent years.

In order to create the best experience for all of our campers, we know that everyone should feel a sense of belonging at the FRC. In order to help facilitate that, we have 6 core program values: accountability, kindness, respect, responsibility, leadership, and peacefulness.
